While there is little debate about whether Super Fruits such as Acai, Caja and Camu Camu are good for you, there is some debate about how best to deliver these fruits to the consumer.
At EIRO, we believe that maintaining the integrity of the whole fruit is the key to getting the most benefit out of the fruit. We use a proprietary process that has to do with extracting the oxygen out of the fruit, allowing us to accomplish two things:

Most liquid nutritional products, including Xango and MonaVie contain Sodium Benzoate.
In 2007, the Food Standards Agency of England found that Sodium Benzoate contributes to cell damage linked to aging and degenerate diseases like Parkinson’s. (Source)
Sodium Benzoate has also been linked to hyperactivity and other behavioral problems in children. (Source)
The FSA urges that companies find alternative ways to preserve their products.
It’s pretty ironic that a product such as MonaVie is touted as having incredible anti-aging benefits, yet the preservative they use has shown to do exactly the opposite in studies.
